Bahrain, 3 September 2026: Singapore Gulf Bank (SGB) has announced the launch of its graduate internship programme for Bahraini university graduates. The three-month initiative forms part of the Bank’s commitment to supporting national talent and preparing Bahraini youth for careers in the banking and financial sector.

The programme welcomes a group of graduates who will work and train across various functions at SGB. Through hands-on involvement in real-world projects and guidance from experienced industry professionals, they will gain first-hand insight into the operations of a global financial institution.

Their training will cover several key areas, including banking and finance, digital finance, operations, business development and risk management. Trainees will also have opportunities to build professional networks and develop the practical and technical skills needed to support their future careers.

Mr Ali Moosa, Executive Vice Chairman of SGB, said: “We are pleased to welcome this talented group of Bahraini graduates and wish them every success during their time with us. The programme will give them the opportunity to apply the knowledge gained through their academic studies in a professional environment while developing a broader understanding of banking and financial services.”

The launch of the programme reflects SGB’s continued commitment to supporting and developing Bahraini talent, while helping to create a professional environment in which young Bahrainis have meaningful opportunities to learn, grow and gain the practical experience needed to build successful careers in the banking and financial sector.
